This sculpture workshop allows students to work with clay from a live model. Starting the day with short drawing exercises, the afternoon will focus on creating an armature, and discovering how to capture the figure effectively by building up layers, working on longer poses, and observing form and texture. With support from artist Ashley Davies.

Art on the Line adult art classes provide one-off taster days in painting, drawing, design, printmaking and sculpture. Led by experienced art practitioners, the classes are suitable for anyone looking to inspire their creativity and develop confidence making art in an informal setting, from beginners to more advanced students.
Places are limited for these popular workshops so book early to avoid disappointment. Workshops last from 10.30-16.00 with an hour lunch at 13.00, and take place in the Learning Centre.
Limited spaces, booking essential. Materials & refreshments (excluding lunch) provided. £25.00 fee for the day. Ages 18+ only.
