A two day practical course that explores the various types of intaglio and relief printmaking. Starting with the simplest form, monoprinting, the workshop allows you to develop your skills in drypoint, lino cuts, and collagraphs with the support of artist Steve Dixon. The course focuses on creating line and tone, rather than the use of colour in printmaking.

Art on the Line adult art classes provide one-off taster days in painting, drawing, design, printmaking and sculpture. Led by an experienced art practitioner, this two day workshop is suitable for anyone looking to inspire their creativity and develop confidence making art in an informal setting, from beginners to more advanced students.
Places are limited for this popular two day workshop so book early to avoid disappointment. Each day will last from 10.30-16.00 with an hour lunch at 13.00, and will take place in the Learning Centre.
