SHOWstudio: Fashion Revolution opens this month, our major new exhibition by Nick Knight, one of the world's most influential fashion image-makers.
Collaborating with high-profile photographers, artists, writers, designers, stylists and cultural figures, Nick Knight’s award winning website SHOWstudio has forged a revolution in the way fashion is communicated.
Tutors are invited to an exclusive twilight event, to explore major themes and how to relate them to course content. This thought-provoking exhibition will be an excellent opportunity for art and design students to explore contemporary fashion, lens-based and digital media.
The evening begins at 18.30 in our Learning Centre with refreshments and an informal introduction, tutor packs and exhibition booklet will be available. Assistant Curator Sarah Mann and Learning Coordinator Annette Richardson will lead participants through the exhibition and answer questions. Tutors may continue to explore until the galleries close at 21.00.
Tickets are available at a £4 concessionary rate which includes entry, refreshment and exhibition guide and pack. Places are limited, book early to avoid disappointment. Please note, some exhibition content is explicit in nature therefore not considered suitable for children.
