Surreal Design

This practical design challenge asks students to design their own ‘surreal object’ that puts together opposing or dissimilar themes to create something fresh and unexpected but with a real function. Taking examples from the design and art world as inspiration make prototypes of your ideas with support from artist Steve Dixon.
All-Day Studio Days for 13-18 years
Each workshop lasts from 10.30-16.00 with an hour for lunch at 13.00 and takes place in the Learning Centre. Limited spaces, booking essential. Materials & refreshments (excluding lunch) provided. £15.00 fee for the day, for ages 13+ only.
